Best Places to Visit in Gujarat

From Krishna's Dwarka and Somnath's Jyotirlinga to the lions of Sasan Gir and the white salt flats of Kutch — the places we take our own families when they visit Gujarat, with practical tips you won't find on generic travel sites.

Gujarat covers 1,600 km of coastline, the world's largest salt desert, India's only wild lions, and some of Hinduism's most sacred temples — all in one state. Most first-time visitors try to cover too much and end up rushed. This guide is written the way we plan trips for our own relatives: what's actually worth your time, when to go, and how to get there without wasting a day in transit.
